Responsibilities

Develop and train on Herc’s Core Value Proposition

Train and educate on how to maximize business through contract positioning and realization

Call at the C-Suite/decision maker level to advance market share through tools and enablers that differentiate Herc from our competitors

Support the response to Government bids, requests for quotation, requests for proposals

Coach and lead the Herc sellers in their efforts to build and grow their government business

Manage a targeted and revolving customer group across all government segments that create best demonstrated practices and maintain a current understanding of customer gaps within the segment, so we can address and support solutions that fill the gaps

Work cross functionally to deliver seamless customer experiences

Effectively execute all administrative responsibilities

Follow a Sales Management Process that delivers effective customer and field engagement that supports consistent pre-call planning that focuses on generating customer demand that enables Herc to take market share

Build proactive plans that lessen the bidding process and increase the use of our current contracts and maximize profitable revenue

Build programs that support the government segments and focus on diversifying fleet to build profitable business

Ability to be agile and take calculated risk

Excellent planning and time management skills

Effective situational awareness and leadership skills

Work within the highest ethical standards and comply with all internal and external regulations

Always keep safety top of mind

Requirements

Professional Experience

Looking to grow beyond this role

Demonstrated and proven revenue growth experience within a sales territory over a number of years

Excellent business/financial acumen

Exceptional communication and networking skills

Ability to travel approximately 70%

Educational Background

Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience
