The Campus Recruiter is accountable to implement recruitment strategies and execute recruitment activities across Canada. He/She focuses on building and maintaining partnerships at colleges, universities and trade schools, specifically focusing on candidates for our sales internships, trainee and apprenticeship programs.
Design, implement and execute robust, innovative university/trade school specific recruiting strategies to attract and hire top talent.
Manage the calendar of events and attend campus activities in support of school strategy.
Develop, maintain and track relationships with university/trade school professionals including careers services, faculty staff, campus organizations, societies, ambassadors and alumni that will advance Hertz Equipment Rental’s presence on campus and attract high caliber candidates.
Collaborate with hiring managers, field recruiters and HR to understand hiring needs and to determine placement opportunities.
Manage the on-site interviewing process including organizing the event, solicitating participation from within the hiring organization's teams and determining offers of employment.
Perform analysis of annual campus recruiting performance and strategic assessment of sourcing channels and methodologies.
Excellent relationship building skills with ability to communicate and collaborate across all organizational levels
Ability organize and manage multiple priorities
Excellent Computer Skills, proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint. Access a plus)
1-3 years of experience in campus recruitment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organized with attention to detail, ability to multi-task with excellent follow-through
Demonstrated client service focus and ability to build relationships across different levels, functions and regions
Self-motivated and passionate; proven track record of understanding recruiting and achieving results
Demonstrated ability to think creatively, strategically and operationally
Willingness to travel to college campuses and work flexible hours, as needed
Bilingual, English and French, an asset
Conditions of Employment
Must have valid Class G license
Clean driving record
2-3 years of experience in a fast paced recruitment environment that required interviewing and sourcing
